The fishery 'average' is 2 trout plus per visit, of 1ΒΌ lbs weight; 2-3 lbs fish are frequently caught, and most seasons the fish returns include 5 lbs trout. Members fish to a maximum of 6 trout per day, of which 4 can be taken, with not more than 2 limit bags in any 7 day period.
About two-thirds of the fishery is reserved for fly only, and both wet and dry are successful. On certain clearly specified beats 'other methods' (i.e. worm, minnow or spinner) are permitted where access is more difficult and the banks well bushed.
