Other Information

TAOA has made arrangements with many of the riparian owners to provide access and parking facilities along the length of our controlled stretch of the river. Members and guests should park appropriately, ensuring that access tracks are kept clear and any gates are closed after passage, as most of this land is worked farmland. Members should be mindful of all farm and domestic animals. Riparian owners and their guests have a right to fish, but must produce a TAOA permit and abide by the Association rules.

Any poachers should be reported to the Club bailiffs and the police, but please take care not to place yourselves in any danger.

The Association liaises with various other bodies, such as the Environment Agency, the Salmon & Trout Association and other entities regarding water quality and fishery improvements.
