The natural wild Brown trout are augmented by the stocking of trout throughout the season, mostly over 12" in length. The Association is able to obtain excellent, well conditioned trout locally and also from the Kennet valley. Both Brown and Rainbow trout are introduced.
The river also boasts a head of Grayling, which continue to thrive, having been stocked by the Association many years ago.
